Grade 4 - Bike Ed.
When: Wed 13 Nov 2024
Times: 9:00am - 3:10pm.
What: The Grade 4 students will rotate through a number of activities within the school grounds. These activities are designed strengthen their knowledge and practical ability when they are on a bike and to raise their awareness of other cyclists and pedestrians.
Bike checks & safety:
In order to participate, each child will need a bicycle and helmet, both in serviceable and safe condition. In order to assess whether your child’s bike is “Bike Ed ready" please ensure the following:

- The brakes are working well
- The tyres are pumped up
- The seat is an appropriate height (in line with their hip when they are standing next to the bike)
- The seat is stable i.e. not spinning or tilting
- Your child’s Bike and Bike Helmet are clearly labelled with their name.
