What:
This event has a strong focus on House Spirit and being a good sport.
This is a friendly and fun competition between our Houses; Paterson, Gordon, Dennis and Lawson.
To finish off the year and determine our House Winner (Zimbachs Shield), we will run a series of competitive games for our students in Grades 5&6. The Grade 5&6 Students will continue this in the format of their Friday sport in the last few weeks of term 4, with the final GALA day being held on the 2nd last Friday of term. We will also encourage our Grade 4 students to also come dressed in their house colours on this day and to watch and support their houses playing in the different games.
Our grade 4 students will also have a taste of the event by competing in some games which will be run by our House Captains, and they will also be able to earn house points towards the Zimbachs Shield.
Games Played:
We play a variety of games where houses compete with each other. Some of these include:
Dodgeball, Soccer, Chicken Run, Throw Ball, Rock Paper Scissors Relays, etc
